What is Reiki? A Gentle Path to Healing and Connection By Staci Hill Holistic Energy Practitioner Have you ever felt like your energy was drained, your emotions heavy, or your body just out of balance? Reiki offers a way to gently realign and restore. Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is a Japanese energy healing technique that channels universal life force energy to promote relaxation, balance, and well-being. It’s not about forcing or fixing, it’s about allowing the natural flow of energy within you to come back into harmony. Whether you’re stressed, overwhelmed, or simply craving a deeper connection to yourself, Reiki creates space for healing on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. Reiki Training: Not Just for “Healers” One of the most beautiful truths about Reiki is that it’s for everyone. You don’t have to be a professional healer or even plan to use it in a business. • For Yourself: Learn simple hand placements and self-practices to ease stress, improve sleep, and deepen your sense of peace. Reiki becomes a daily self-care ritual—like giving yourself an energetic hug.   • For Friends & Family: Reiki is a powerful way to support your loved ones. Imagine being able to calm a child after a hard day, soothe a partner’s headache, or bring comfort to an aging parent.   • For Your Pets, Plants, & Home: Reiki extends beyond people—it can be shared with animals, plants, and even to bring calm energy into your home environment. When you train in Reiki, you’re not just learning a modality, you’re cultivating a lifelong tool for balance, compassion, and connection. Why Join Reiki Training? • It’s accessible and intuitive, no experience is required. • It connects you with a supportive community of like-minded souls. • It empowers you with skills that last a lifetime. • It opens doors to deeper intuition and spiritual growth. Whether you’re drawn to Reiki for personal growth, family care, or as a steppingstone into energy work, this training will meet you where you are. Ready to Begin? Our next Reiki Training is coming up, and you are warmly invited to join us. Step into a journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and healing energy. Reach out today to reserve your spot. Questions I’ve Answered Countless Times in My 5 Years as a Beauty Guide By Christine Moreau, Beauty Guide & Skincare Educator One of my favorite parts of being a Beauty Guide is helping women simplify beauty. I get asked the same questions over and over, and I love sharing tips that make skincare and makeup feel less overwhelming and more doable. Here are some of the most common ones I hear: 1. How do I know what order to put my skincare on? Think thinnest to thickest. Always start with a cleanse. At night, double cleansing is best: first remove makeup, then cleanse the skin. Cleanse morning and night. Exfoliate two to three times per week, then layer on any treatments or serums, finishing with moisturizer. 2. What should a nighttime routine look like? Everyone is different, which is exactly where I come in, to help you create a routine that works for your skin and your lifestyle. But as a baseline, I recommend: • Remove makeup with a balm, spray, or cloth • Cleanse once, or ideally twice for a deeper clean • Moisturize to lock in hydration overnight Consistency is the secret to seeing real results. 3. How should I apply my foundation? And what shade do I use? It all depends on the look you want: • For full coverage, apply with a dry sponge, dabbing instead of smearing • For medium coverage, use a brush with small circular or dabbing motions • For light coverage, apply with a damp sponge, dabbing onto the skin for a natural finish Shade matching is one of my favorite ways to help women feel confident. I love finding your perfect match. 4. How long do Limelife products last once opened? Most products are best within six months of opening, though some are good up to twelve months. Because our formulas are clean and naturally derived, we do not load them with preservatives to extend shelf life. When used regularly, most skincare will last three or more months, and makeup often lasts even longer. 5. Are LimeLife’s products safe for tweens and teens? Absolutely. Our products are safe, clean, and effective for everyone, even little ones. I use them on my own daughter with confidence. Every formula goes through years of research and development to ensure quality without shortcuts. At the end of the day, beauty is not about perfection, it is about confidence. I am on a mission to help women regain their confidence and love the skin they are in. If you are ready to feel more comfortable in your own skin, I would love to meet with you for a one-on-one Glow Up Session where we will go over your unique needs and find solutions for your biggest skincare and makeup struggles.

🎙️WISE Podcast Update

After our September meeting, we officially recorded our first two podcast episodes, and they went so well!! Episode one features Christine interviewing Diana and Nicole as they share more about the heart of WISE and our mission. In episode two, Christine sat down with board members Kim, Staci, Nicole, and Diana for a lively discussion about our community, entrepreneurship, and supporting one another. Our goal moving forward is to record two episodes after each monthly meeting so we can release two new episodes every month. This will give us a steady rhythm of fresh, authentic conversations to share with our community. Nicole will share the episodes with us when they are ready! Now it’s your turn. We would love for every member to participate by recording an episode. Think of it as a chance to share your story, your business, or a topic you’re passionate about in a casual, coffee-style conversation. The cost to participate is $30. Part of that helps cover equipment and production, and the rest goes directly to our WISE Scholarship Fund. To commit to a future recording, text Nicole and let her know you’re in. Together, we can make this podcast a true reflection of the incredible women who make up WISE.
