WISE November 2025 Newsletter

November 24, 202512 min read

Hello WISE Laides! Our November meeting on the eleventh was full of connection, conversation and meaningful moments. We shared the news that Diana, our president, has decided to step down and step away from WISE. We are grateful for her contributions and wish her the very best moving forward. Kim opened the meeting with an icebreaker that had the entire room laughing. Are you a list maker or do you wing it? It was fun to hear everyone’s answers and learn a little more about one another. Our guest speaker was Lori Feil, the founder of Pajama Rama. She shared the personal story that inspired her to launch this incredible organization. The photos, stories and the impact she described were truly moving. She walked us through the mission of her organization - PJ parties, camps and hospital visits where she delivers donated pajamas, which are considered a luxury item for many of the children she serves. One quote she shared really stayed with us. Kindness starts with you. What will your ripple do? We are looking ahead to several exciting things. Our annual holiday celebration will take the place of our December meeting. Details are included below and we hope to see you there. In January, we will hold elections for board positions and committee chairs, including the role of president. You can nominate yourself or someone else through the form on our website. Greater involvement helps WISE grow stronger and we would love to have more members step into leadership. We also have several upcoming social meet ups on the calendar. Be sure to check the upcoming events section and mark your dates. We would love to have you join us. Warmly, Christine Moreau On behalf of the WISE Board

🌟Business Spotlight: Lori Feil, Founder of Pajama Rama Some people start a business. Others start a movement. Lori Feil did both. As the founder of Pajama Rama, Lori turned a simple act of kindness into a mission that’s touched thousands of lives. What began as a heartfelt response to a moment of crisis — when her daughter was hospitalized and Lori stumbled upon a hospital wish list asking for pajamas — quickly grew into something much bigger. She realized that something as basic as a pair of pajamas could offer comfort, dignity, and a sense of normalcy to children going through incredibly tough situations. Whether they’re facing illness, trauma, or instability at home, Lori saw an opportunity to wrap them in warmth — not just physically, but emotionally. With a background in psychology and years of experience working with vulnerable populations, Lori brought both heart and insight to her mission. Pajama Rama has since delivered tens of thousands of pajamas to children across Texas and beyond, partnering with hospitals, advocacy centers, and schools to make sure no child feels forgotten. Lori’s approach is simple: meet people where they are, and offer something that makes them feel safe, seen, and loved. Pajama Rama isn’t just about sleepwear — it’s about restoring comfort in moments that feel anything but comfortable. Her story is a reminder that even the smallest gesture can spark something extraordinary. And that sometimes, the most powerful way to make a difference is to start with what’s close to your heart. Stay connected and help spread the mission: 1. Follow Pajama Rama on Facebookand Instagram 2. Host a pajama drive, become a sponsor, or donate directly 3. Share Lori’s story to inspire others to give back published by Social Butterfly by Diana 🦋

We’re excited to share some big news about our WISE podcast. The first two episodes are officially complete and already up on YouTube. Nicole has been working so hard on the editing side and while the process took more time than we expected, we are thrilled with how everything has come together. Our plan is to release two episodes each month, which means we need to record more episodes! If you have been thinking about joining us, this is the perfect time. You can share your story, talk about your business, or dive into a topic you are passionate about in a relaxed, coffee style conversation. The cost to record is $30, which helps support production and contributes to the WISE Scholarship Fund. To schedule, just text Nicole and let her know you are ready. Now that the first episodes are live, we would love for you not only to listen but to share them with your network on social media and your website. Getting the word out will help us reach even more women and your support truly makes a difference. Collective action always creates the biggest impact and we are grateful to do this together.

“November Reset: Why Now Is the Best Time to Streamline Your Tech Before 2025” by Nicole Serralta Certified Tech Solutions November is always a turning point for business owners. The holidays begin rolling in, the calendar fills up, and the pressure to “finish strong” becomes real. But hidden inside this hectic season is one of the greatest opportunities of the entire year: the ability to recalibrate your systems before 2025 arrives. Most business owners don’t realize it, but the last six weeks of the year determine the first six months of the next one—especially from a technology and operations perspective. Here are three high-impact areas to revisit right now: 1. Automation Gaps Are Costing You Hours Every Week Small cracks in your processes—manual follow-up, inconsistent client onboarding, outdated funnels, lost leads—become huge problems during the busiest season. November is the perfect time to: Audit your current workflows Identify tasks that can be automated Replace outdated tools Clean and segment your CRM Prepare a fresh pipeline strategy going into January Even a simple text-automation or follow-up workflow can recover 5–10 hours a week you didn’t know you were losing. This ties directly into our November promotion: ⭐ Automation on a Mission Implementation for just $97 — a perfect “cleanup & reset” package for end-of-year system optimization. 2. Your Website Should Be Ready for Holiday Traffic Consumers are more active online right now than at any other point in the year (Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, holiday gifting, travel planning, and more). Ask yourself: Is your site loading quickly? Are your landing pages converting? Is your mobile experience smooth? Does your site clearly communicate your core offers going into 2025? Simple improvements—like updated CTAs, clear offer banners, or consolidated navigation—can dramatically increase conversions. This month, CTS is offering quick-turn website updates and block time packages for clients who want to modernize their site before 2025 begins. 3. Data Organization Now → Peace of Mind Later Most business owners wait until January to organize digital files, email inboxes, downloads, screenshots, and shared drives. By then, you’re already behind. Instead, use November as your “digital deep clean.” Recommended: Archive outdated files Consolidate client folders Reorganize Drive/SharePoint/NAS structures Update SOPs Refresh passwords & security settings Close out old projects These small actions create a clean runway for new opportunities next year. Final Thought: November Is Your Leverage Point If you’re ready to streamline your systems, reduce overwhelm, and enter 2025 with confidence, the time is now. A few smart updates can change everything about how smoothly you operate in the new year. Certified Tech Solutions is offering limited November promotions to help you do exactly that: ⭐ $97 AOAM Quick-Start/Reset Setup ⭐ Discounted Block-Time Packages ⭐ Fast Website Enhancements & End-of-Year Tech Cleanup This month, your future self will thank you for what you automate today.
